1964 Gretsch Chet Atkins 6120

Serial # 76826. A mid-60's Gretsch in amazing condition. If you know old Gretsch guitars, you know that a guitar of this age will likely have a bit of binding rot going on by now. Not so with this 6120; it looks virtually brand new. Even the vinyl access panel cover has escaped the ravages of time. This is one clean guitar.

It's a perfect player, too, thanks to a refret, new bone nut, Tone-Pros Tune-O-Matic bridge, and replacement bridge base installed by us a number of years back. The guitar does what a vintage Gretsch should do, but plays well too!

2 Filter'Tron humbuckers, horseshoe peghead inlay, vinyl back pad, Gretsch Bigsby, and original case are what this one's all about. No binding rot, intact pickguard, 100% original (minus the work mentioned above) and in great shape. The only flaw is the dried-out mute rubber… bummer. An all around cool guitar. Original bridge and base in the case pocket.

With original hard shell Gretsch case
