2009 Gibson '57 Les Paul Goldtop R7 Re-issue
Serial # 791504. First equipped with humbuckers in 1957, the Les Paul Goldtop has become one of the most recognizable versions of this iconic guitar. This re-issue stays true to the '57 original with its Goldtop finish, white floating pickguard and chunky 50's neck profile. Evidence of the carved maple cap on a mahogany body can be seen in the cutaway just like on the original models as well.
This particular guitar is in near-mint condition and sounds just like a Les Paul should thanks, in part, to its Gibson BurstBucker pickups. Nickel hardware, one-piece mahogany neck, binding on body and neck, Tune-O-Matic bridge, CTS pots, bumblebee capacitors and antique gold finish.
