Chad Underwood Telecaster Lefty

Chad Underwood is a Kansas-based builder who keeps a low profile building high-profile guitars. This lefty white-guard telecaster is one of the best lefty teles we've played. It's a boutique guitar, built with top-tier woods and parts, with every detail massaged to perfection for an amazing player experience.

Two-piece lightweight swamp ash body finished in a light see-through blond finish and fitted with a parchment-white three ply guard. Maple neck with quarteredMadagascar rosewood fingerboard, cream dots, bone nut, and big frets. The neck carve is round with a deep carve and full feel, and a standard B-width nut of 1-5/8”. Wonderfully rolled fingerboard edges for a real comfortable feel, and a modern radius.

Budz Bridge pickup and a Duncan Alnico II Pro in the neck position with standard three-way wiring, and CTS pots and switch. Glendale bridge with brass lefty-compensated saddles.

The guitar is in excellent condition and set-up perfectly. The original finish has a vintage low-gloss sheen and some light dings and dents but not much in the way of playwear. The neck is clean too.

An A-list telecaster for the lefty player who wants a pro-quality boutique guitar with all the best features and tone.

With G+G tweed case.
