2008 Fender Custom Shop '69 Thinline Telecaster NOS
Serial # R39097. Here's a Fender Custom Shop 1969 Thinline Telecaster NOS in gorgeous Daphne Blue that's as brand-new as a used guitar can get. The guitar was bought new in '08, and used only a few times by the looks of it. No modifications of any kind, no play wear, no finish damage, no fretwear... you get the point. All the original case accouterments are with the guitar, and the original G&G hardshell case is in perfect condition as well.
The Thinline was introduced in 1969, and featured a semi-hollow alder Tele body with single f-hole, standard tele pickups and bridge, and a redesigned pickguard. This Custom Shop version is a fantastic homage to the original. The guitar features a nitrocellulose lacquer finish, maple neck with maple cap fingerboard, 9.5" radius fingerboard, Fender '63 Tele pickups, and 'F' tuners. It's a lightweight and resonant guitar, with a plugged in sound that will make you weak at the knees. It's easily the current shop favorite.
