1997 Orville Les Paul Standard Lefty

Serial # 708062. Built by in Japan in the 1980's and '90's, the Orville line was designed to fit between the US-built Gibsons and the Korean-built Epiphones in price and quality. This '97 Orville Les Paul Standard was built by Fuji-Gen, and features an excellent build quality, beautiful finish, and a fine attention to detail. It's certainly more on par with USA-built Gibson than anything we've become used to seeing from overseas manufacturers.

The guitar is built with a single-piece mahogany body and maple cap, set-in mahogany neck, vintage style body bindings, and bound rosewood fingerboard. This example has been hot-rodded by us, and features a pair of Seymour Duncan Antiquity humbuckers, CTS potentiometers and bumblebee caps. We've installed a Bigsby vibrato, too, which is ,admittedly, lots of fun.

The guitar plays beautifully, and sounds heavenly. 1960 neck carve, 1-11/16" nut, Kluson vintage-style tuners.

With hardshell case
