1966 Harmony Rocket

The H53 Harmony Rocket is always a shop favourite when we have one. With its fully-holly single-cut body, hot DeArmond pickup and great looks, it's an incredibly cool and good sounding axe that can be had at a budget price tag.

This one has seen some hot-rodding by our repair staff in its past, and features a TonePros AVR Tune-O-Matic bridge and properly fit ebony base and a well made bone nut. Those two improvements make any 1960's Harmony electric infinitely more playable, tunable, and usable. The frets are excellent on this one, too, and the set-up is just lovely.

Apart from a little bit of case-induced wear on the guitar's upper treble side, and the requisite finish chips on the headstock, the guitar is in just gorgeous shape. The color is rich and unfaded, with a beautifully subtle sunburst cherry lacquer finish.

D-carved neck with 1-11/16” width at the nut and 24” scale. 16” wide single-cut thin hollowbody made of laminate maple and bound in white.

With original chipboard case
