1966 Gretsch 6120 Nashville

Serial # 126885. A late 1966 Gretsch 6120 Nashville with no binding issues, great neck angle, and a pair of excellent sounding Filter'Trons. The perennially cool double-cut 6120, with its classic orange finish, thumbprint inlays, and Gretsch-branded Bigsby is always great to look at and even better to play.

This example is an early 6120 to feature the Nashville headstock badge, but otherwise pretty much the same as the 64-66 models. It's original but for a replaced mute felt (the original would have been black foam). The guitar's plastic parts have small cracks in the usual places, and the bridge has been pinned to the top. The bridge top has a pair of extra grooves for the high strings, and the original frets are showing some age. The finish is original, and the leatherette back pad is in great shape. Electronics are 100% original with no modifications. Set-up in shop.

With original hardshell case.
