1965 Fender Precision Bass

Neck dated June 5th 1965, pots dated 20th week of 65. C Neck carve. Serial number neck plate has been replaced, and body refinished years ago. An excellent player-quality P-bass from the family of the instrument's second owner. The body finish and pickguard have been changed, but the balance of the bass is original and in excellent shape. Neck finish and frets are original, along with the tuners, string tree and strap button, Fender decal, and nut. Nicely worn maple neck and C carve neck are a great feeling pair.

Original pickups, pots, capacitor, and aluminum pickguard shielding plate. Original bridge, and both covers, original control knobs. Replaced jack, thumbrest has been added and the original finger-rest long lost. Gorgeous rosewood fingerboard, nice body contours under black finish.

An excellent sounding bass with a pickup DC reading of 11kOhms. 8.1 lbs light.

With non-original hardshell case
