1961 National Val-Pro 82

The National Val-Pro 82 is a Res-O-Glass body, Valco-made, map-shaped, hollow body electric built in the early 1960’s. These guitars are famous for their distinctive looks, fiberglass resin construction, and their warm, detailed and dark, fat single-coil tone.

This local guitar is in excellent condition and has been beautifully maintained. Apart from a refret done here at Folkway a few years back, this Val-Pro 82 is completely original and in perfect working order. Nothing but the good stuff here...

Red Res-O-Glass body with single neck position pickup. Three-way tone switching with volume control for each switch position. All original hardware is in excellent condition, set-up is perfect, and frets are unworn.

C-carved neck with bound rosewood fingerboard, nutwidth a hair less than 1-11/16” and a scale of about 24-1/2”

With original hardshell case
