1959 Kay Value Leader Bass
Kay's Value Leader bass featured the same body and short scale neck used on the 6 string guitar version, but was fitted with 4 string bass tuners, bridge, and tailpiece. The single-pickup hollow body bass sounds warm and thick, and is fantastically easy to play – particularly for guitar players.
This one was rode hard and put up wet, but its well set up and in great playing order after setup by us, and a pickup rebuilt by Peter Leonard (AKA Pickup Wizard).
Original electronics, tuners, frets and finish.Lots of worn finish and great looks.
