1953 Gibson ES-175N

Serial # A-13691, FON Y3951-29. An amazingly fine natural-finished ES-175 from the heyday of the model. The ES-175 was Gibson's most popular pro-model Jazz box, and found wide favor with musicians of all stripes. The guitar featured a Florentine cut-away, full-depth and fully hollow laminate maple 16" wide body, bound rosewood fingerboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays, pearl crown headstock ornament and logo, nickel hardware, and a single P-90 in the neck position.

This example is in excellent condition, and beautifully set-up in our shop. The frets and nut are new, and the tuning machines are accurate modern Kluson replicas. The balance of the guitar is factory stock and unmodified. Electronics work perfectly, pickup sounds heavenly, and the neck feel is precisely how you'd want it to be. Original finish throughout, some playwear on the back of the neck and very light belt scuffing on the guitar's backside. Original solder joints and unmodified wire-harness.

A very attractive 175 with heavenly tone and a feel to match. With original hardshell case
