Collings MT2 V
Another gorgeous mandolin from the great state of Texas! The Collings MT2 V is the same mandolin as their MT2, but features a time consuming, hand rubbed oil-based varnish finish and an ivoroid-bound ebony pickguard. In addition, we've ordered this model with a larger 1-3/16" nut for a slightly larger feel.
The result is a wonderful looking and sounding instrument that is difficult not to fall in love with. Featuring a select Adirondack top and premium figured maple back and sides the instrument has a lovely warm tone, with a nice amount of projection. Grained ivoroid top, back and neck binding, parallel tone bar bracing, bound 'haircut' headstock, adjustable ebony bridge and 13-7/8" scale.
