2007 Collings D1G

Serial # 13099. With its German spruce top, scalloped bracing, and lightweight South American mahogany back and sides, this Collings Dreadnought rumbles in all the right ways, and has an underlying power that will blow you away. The guitar is a phenomenal flat-picker " its trebles are robust, articulate, round, and clean, and the basses are defined but huge, with the ability to get louder and louder as the player’s attack strengthens.

In near-perfect condition, the guitar could pass for new were it not for its serial number and a slight bit of fretwear in the first position. The topwood is of the highest caliber, and the fit and finish are the kind of perfect that Collings has long been known for. 1-11/16” standard neck carve with a subtle rounded V shape. Bone nut and saddle, ebony pins, oval-button nickel Waverly tuning machines.

With original hardshell case
