2006 Collings CJ
Serial # 12874. A custom mahogany and Adirondack red spruce Collings CJ in nearly new condition. With its long scale, red spruce top and scalloped braces, this CJ marries the best of slope shouldered and Dreadnought tone. It's both loud and subtle, with excellent balance, a strong fundamental, and the mid-range focus we all love in a slope-shouldered dreadnought.
Set-up in our shop, the guitar plays perfectly. There is the slightest bit of playwear at the edges of the soundhole, but it is otherwise pretty much as-new. 25.5" scale, 1-23/32" nut, medium-fat C neck profile, upgraded ivoroid bindings, bone nut and saddle, Waverly tuning machines.
