Collings 0001 Custom

A modern recreation of a Golden Era classic, the Collings 0001 is the best thing to happen to 12 fret guitars since 1930. For many, the 12 fret 000 represents the epitome of acoustic guitar design. The 0001 is both large and small, and can respond to a player's attack in either way -- with big bass and volume, or with melodic and strong trebles and complex overtones. The positioning of the bridge in the center of the top adds a magic and big-room fullness to every note, and the small pyramid bridge ensures that the guitar's top is allowed to vibrate as much a possible. Proportion and balance are the fundamentals that this model adheres to, and guitarists of all kinds can't get enough of it once they get picking on this model.

With its sunburst top and rope binding, this is a strikingly beautiful and very unique instrument. South American mahogany back and sides, Adirondack Red spruce top, scalloped bracing with pre-war positioning, tortoise celluloid bindings, ebony fingerboard and bridge, ebony headstock overlay, bone nut and saddle, gloss lacquer finish, and nickel Waverly tuning machines. Custom 1-3/4" nut width, modified V neck carve, 25.5" scale.

With deluxe hardshell case
