Serial # 9550. Love the looks of a Herringbone Collings Dreadnought but prefer the sound of mahogany over rosewood? Perfect! Here's your guitar… ready to fool everyone at the next bluegrass festival you attend!
A standard model Collings D2H, but with mahogany back and sides. Scalloped-braced Sitka spruce top, herringbone purfling and style twenty-eight rosette. Standard carve neck with 1-11/16" nut width, 25.4" scale. Ebony fingerboard with slotted diamond inlays; bone nut and compensated saddle, nickel Waverly tuning machines.
The guitar is in excellent condition but does show a few minor dings to the top and light fretwear in the first position. 100% original, and unmodified. Set-up with mediums by our shop.
With original hardshell case.
