c.1930 Supertone Tenor

Built by Harmony under the Supertone Brand for Sears, this instrument was a fancy, nicely built banjo. It features a pearloid fingerboard and headstock, burled walnut resonator with double inlaid rings, marquetry around the rim and resonator edges, aged white bindings, and a 5-piece walnut and maple neck with fluted profile. 20 bracket 11" rim, heavy cast tone ring, Waverly tailpiece, and Grover tuning machines.

The instrument is in excellent condition, well set-up, and plays very well with fine tone. Original frets are in good shape and level. Replacement WeatherKing head. 19 fret neck, 22-3/4" scale, 1-1/8" nut.
