1969 Guild Starfire IV

Serial # EL 2253. Here's a late '60's Starfire IV, Guild's take on Gibson's popular ES-335, in a great looking sunburst finish. It's a true 'Player's guitar' with excellent playability and fat tone, but without the price tag. The guitar's fingerboard was VERY professionally replaced (note the absence of dots and binding), and the neck oversprayed -- two modifications that, when done well, will make a guitar play better and cost less! The tuners are replacement locking Sperzels, and the nut and knobs are new as well. The guitar plays perfectly, and the neck is exceptionally comfortable. Big, strong humbuckers with lots of oomph and dynamics. All in all, a very fine guitar.
