1960 Gibson Skylark Amp

Serial #23873. A cool looking Gibson amp from 1960 with all kinds of tone. The GA-5 was often sold as a set with the budget Skylark ES-500 steel and was marketed to appeal to beginners and students, but it's sound was anything but budget, and the pair sold well. The Skylark set was Gibson's competitor to the Fender Champ steel and amp set.

This amp has a fair amount of wear, a new AC cord and fuse holder, and has a small hole in its original Jensen speaker. The hole doesn't seem to have much effect on the tone of the amp so we left it original.
