c.1955 Mason Amp & Steel Set
Built just down the road from us in Galt, Ontario; the Mason Company offered Canadians a quality alternative to the more costly Fenders imported from south of the border. This is the first Mason amp we've seen with two speakers and it doesn't disappoint. It offers up a tweedy tone, with a nice amount of break up when pushed, yet compliments the steel nicely at lower volumes. The steel itself has a vibe all its own with its colorful fret markings and a "Poltergeist-grey" covering.
In excellent condition and in good working order, this set is in virtually the same condition as when it was purchased over 50 years ago.
