1963 Fender Deluxe Reverb

Circuit AA763. Production code MJ, October 1963. Chasis dated 43/63, transformers dated mid-year 1963.

A very early blackface Fender Deluxe Reverb; the model was introduced in 1963, but we've not ever seen a '63 in person. Apart from the year, there's not any difference between a '63 or a '64, but still

An incredible sounding amp, it's really no wonder why for so many the Deluxe Reverb is their 'Desert Island' pick. The amp is the perfect size, the perfect wattage, and has a gorgeous reverb and tremolo.

This example is in lovely cosmetic condition, and quite original on the inside. The circuitry is just about stock, minus the filter-caps, the fuse wiring, and the reverb transformer. The speaker is a new Eminence Legend, and the grill cloth has been replaced. The servicing has just been done, and the amp works flawlessly.
