1966 Gibson GA-20RVT
Gibson's GA-20RVT is a 20 watt EL-84 powered combo with 12" ceramic CTS speaker, reverb, and tremolo. Built only for a couple of years, the GA-20 (or Minuteman as it's also known) is not a particularly common amp, but thanks to a not-so-similar re-issue recently offered by Gibson, the model is seeing something of a renaissance these days. Don't confuse this one with the new models though - nothing but vintage tube tone here, folks. It's in great shape, with no rips or tears to the Tolex or cloth, and has had minor servicing to bring it up to modern snuff. New power cords, filter caps; that kind of stuff. A nice small tube amp... RVT channel is somewhat quieter than the normal channel; we understand that this is a design shortcoming with this model.

1966 Fender Tremolux
A blackface Tremolux piggy back with a '64 2x10 cab. 30 watts, normal and tremolo channels; 6L6 power tubes. The head is mostly stock, but has replacement tubes, AC cord, and 1/4" footswitch input jack. Transformers are all original and date to the first weeks of '66. Original 1964 Oxford 10" speakers, professionally reconed. There is some minor wear to the tolex on both the head and the cab, but there are no major rips or gashes to report. A fine sounding vintage Blackface for not too much cash.

1962 Gibson GA-18T
With foot-switch able tremolo, a pair of EL84 power tubes, a 12" Ceramic Canadian Jensen, and about 14 watts the GA-18T is highly prized for its small-amp breakup and big-amp tone. A very fine sounding lower wattage tube combo, and a killer blues amp. It can't be much longer until the amps built by Gibson start realizing the vintage dollars and cache of some of those other companies amps! Original tolex and grill cloth in excellent shape, and no real wear to the chassis, knobs, or handle. It is missing it's back panel though, but those are easy to make...

1968 Fender Bronco Amp
In late 1967, Fender introduced the Bronco Amp as a companion to its Bronco guitar. Rather than designing an entirely new amplifier, the CBS-Fender team simply relableled a Vibro Champ Amp. The Bronco is identical to the Vibro Champ in every way and only the names on the control panel are different. Vibro Champ production was far greater than Bronco production making Bronco Amps rather uncommon. The amp shown here is an early example which sports the typical cosmetic features of the earliest silverface amps including vertical lines on the control panel, first style silverface grillcloth, and aluminum grill trim. This one is near mint and all original including the amp cover. And it's so cute and small that we'll be happy to pack it into a nice little box and ship it to your door!

1964 Fender Princeton Reverb
Tube chard code: NL, power transformer code 606-439. Fender Electric Instruments on control plate. Although this amp has various changed parts, its original circuit has not been modified. The baffle has been replaced with a Baltic Birch plywood board, cut for a 12" speaker; the output transformer and choke are new Mojo units, the speaker is a new Weber 12F150-O, and all the tubes except for the rectifier have been replaced. It has had a cap job and its power cord replaced in recent servicing. Original caps, one changed pot, power cord and tubes accompany the amp. It's a great sounding amplifier - some say the best lower-wattage amp ever - and is in perfect working order.

1965 Magnatone M13 Imperial
The M13 Imperial is a 30 watt, 3 channel tube-driven amp, with a 15" speaker and a pair of 4" tweeters. It was built by Estey for a couple of years in the mid-1960's and was at the top of Magnatone's guitar amp line-up in its day. The speaker is a 60's Marsland made in Canada replacement, but the amp is otherwise pretty close to stock. It's had a cap job, and its AC cord swapped out, and it sounds great. Footswitchable vibrato and reverb, stereo input channel. With original footswitch and vinyl cover. Sorry, no shipping on this one.

1960 DeArmond 60B Tremolo Control
DeArmond's famous mechanical tremolo is very lo-fi, and sounds gorgeous. The first version of the effect was introduced in 1948, and aside from the box it's housed in, not much changed over the years in production. The unit produces its liquidy tremolo effect by sending the guitar's signal to ground, and does so through the use of a water-based electrolytic fluid. For an in depth explanation of how this pedal works please have a look at Dan Formosa's highly informative website
The unit has been serviced and works faultlessly. It is a must for any well equipped recording studio. Rate and depth controls, on and off, and master power.
With original AC cord and 1/4" coax connector

1968 Marshall 1982 & 1982B Cabinets
Built in '68 these Jimi era 4x12" cabinets would do nicely under that Plexi Super Lead you have in the basement. They are model 1982 (S/N 12206), and Model 1982B (S/N 14244). The top slant 1982 dates from November or December 1968, and the Straight 1982B dates from January or February of the following year. These cabs were bought new in 1970 and saw mostly basement use with an occasional gig. They are in great condition, overall with only minor vinyl wear. Serial number plates are original, as are gab bars and covers. These cabinets are available as a pair or individually.

1964 Fender Vibroverb
What can I say about an original '64 Fender Vibroverb... If you haven't played one, you ought to! This pre-CBS amp is completely stock with the exception of a re-cone to it's original 15" Oxford, a cap job, and grounded plug. The tubes are all original, too - including the RCA 6L6's. One 1/2" tear in the grille-cloth, no wear to the Tolex. Original transformers all date to 1964, as do the pots, speaker and chassis codes, and tube-chart stamps. Original foot switch. As you might imagine, it sounds pretty good... Ok ok - it sounds ridiculously good!

1965 Fender Deluxe Reverb
The desert island amp! I have one of these that I'll never, ever, sell... so should you! Here's a clean '65 Deluxe Reverb with no rips or tears in the grille or Tolex, and an original Oxford speaker. The output transformer has been replaced with an Axiom, but the others all date to mid-1965. This one's been re-tubed, biased and capped recently, and sounds great.

1966 National Newport 97 Amp
The Valco Model 6497 was offered under various different brands during the 1960's, however not very many of these seem to be out there. The 6497 is a two-channel 35 watt tremolo combo, with a 15" Jensen ceramic speaker, and 6L6 power tubes. It's the perfect amount of power - and breaks up well at band volumes. The tremolo is sweet, too. It's recently been serviced and works like a charm. Original speaker and transformers. A few rips in the grill cloth, but otherwise in good shape.

1980 Fender Deluxe Reverb
It's amazing to think that Fender was still hand-wiring tube amps in 1980, but they were, and here's a 1980 Silverface Deluxe reverb to prove it. A great sounding point-to-point wired box, with a solid pine cabinet, reverb and tremolo. It's had some servicing lately - replaced filter caps, tubes, speaker (it's a Celestion G12H) and power transformer. It sounds great, and has a lot of clean head-room thanks to that Celestion speaker. A lower wattage Weber or Jensen will make the amp dive at a lower volume, if that's what you're after.

1960's Valco Airline 2x12 Amp
Built for Mongomery Ward by Valco, this Airline amp is a candidate for "Coolest amp of the year" around here. It's got about 20 watts powering a pair 12" replacement Jensen Mods and a set of Sylvania 6L6's doing the work. The rectifier is a Sylvania 5Y3, and the 12AX7's are by RCA. Pots date from '64. Recently serviced to perfection, with working reverb and trem circuits. Great drive, and enough go to pull its weight live.

1964 Fender Tremolux Amp
Some call the Tremolux the "Perfect amp". With about 35 watts of power, and one of the sweetest tremolo circuits ever designed this amp can do Surf, Country, Blues, or anything else you want to put through it. This is a transitional model - built in Feb. '64 - with blond tolex and a blackface panel. It is in great cosmetic shape, with original tolex, grill cloth, knobs and parts and Fender badges. The circuit board is all original, but the power transformer is a replacement. Two strong original RCA 6L6's handle the power well, and the amp sounds great. The cab houses two original 12" speakers, and a lot of 40 year old fiberglass baffling. It is a beautiful specimen, and on consignment from one of this country's foremost guitar collectors.

It's just been serviced and has had a new set of power-tubes installed; a few new caps, biased, and a grounded plug added. It has a replaced grill cloth, and some of paint-touch-up on the black tolex. The speaker dates from '67 (a Jensen C-12NS) - a nice period-correct mod; its original transformers all date from '65. 2003 Fender Vibrolux Reverb MINT
The nicest trem of any of Fender's reissue amps, the 40 watt Vibrolux fits the bigger-than-small, but smaller-than-big niche very nicely. 2 10" Alnico speakers sound great, with a lot of vintage vibe to their voice. Great clean sound, Jazzy and full - but amply bright. Near mint and almost not used.

2004 Fender Deluxe Reverb
One of Fender's best selling vintage reissue amplifiers. The Deluxe Reverb is a great sounding and manageable 22 watts; it drives nicely at moderate volumes. It's in as new condition.
